Arusha National Park is the closest safari destination to the city of Arusha. It is home to Mount Meru, Tanzania’s second highest peak with an elevation of 4566m. The park has a rich variety of wildlife making it a great stop for visitors in Arusha who want to see a variety of animals on a short amount of time. It is smaller and lesser known than the other parks, but makes for a wonderful safari destination.
